Since Paradise Lost last CD (Live Enchantment) on Capitol Records back in 1996, I have felt a massive void in my life. John Digester has compared writing for Paradise Lost’s new album to that on ‘Live Enchantment’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. I am not a real Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Live Enchantment’ really is amazing. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Live Enchantment.

Widow - A strong beat. The opening track Dying Freedom is very much like you would expect from other albums. Forever Failure actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Paradise Lost’s face. Shadow Kings is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Remembrance is my favorite song on Live Enchantment. Pity The Sadness is a strong cut, one of many. Sweetness one is one of the better boring ones. First time I heard Once Solemn was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Hallowed Land is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Strong, powerful vocals of Paradise Lost in Embers Fire are very impressive. As I Die as a highlight of Live Enchantment contains a ton of exquisite melodies. True Belief is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. In Nominae Satanas is a good listen every once in a while. Death Walks Behind You is one of my favorite songs by Paradise Lost.
