While no new Paul Mauriat album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1996 tour in Australia. This album is in perfect progression from Paul Mauriat!

Within the first few notes of Brasilia Carnaval it’s perfectly clear that Paul Mauriat is living this song. Dis-Lui “Feelings” still maintains something of a specific flourish. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Good Bye My Love Good Bye is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Some call I Will Follow Him from Diamond Collections as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Je Ne Suis Que De L’Amour is a bit of a show-tune. L’Ete Indien “Africa” is nothing but pure genius. Love Is Blue gives good insight into the truths. One listen to the sheer beauty of Love Story was all I needed. Mamy Blue - A classic Paul Mauriat track. Melodie one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Memory is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Paul Mauriat emotions are reflected through Minuetto. Moulins De Mon Coeur is one of the more up-tempo songs on Diamond Collections. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Padrino from the beginning to the end. This is probably my favorite song on the album. What sets Pulstar apart is Paul Mauriat’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. San Francisco is the most memorable and gorgeous. I now have Sur Un Air Du Vivaldi as one of my personal favorites. Nice and different song. The Way We Were is one of these floating songs. I like the agression and power of Tocatta. This track is full of harmonies and gets Diamond Collections off to a relaxing start.
