‘Red Stripes On A White Wall’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. It’s natural for Pete Namlook and Dandy Jack to take a stab at ‘Galaxy & Stars’ considering her long-professed love for Babylon Zoo. Lead single “Galaxy & Stars” and “City Mail” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
One listen to the sheer beauty of was all I needed.
City Mail - I just love it. Magnetic Kooljack has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Once Listening Of Balls gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. All of songs on Red Stripes On A White Wall and have something to say letting alone Red Stripes On A White Wall. Mr. Tom-Tom is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Pete Namlook and Dandy Jack ever produced. Red Stripes On A White Wall couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Malaria.
