Cannonball Blues is the more seemingly obscure song on Yonder that bear up best to repeated listening. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Tuck Away My Lonesome Blues is a bit of a show-tune. Texas Rangers is a song to enjoy for years to come. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Can’t Get There From Here. A great put together song. When You And I Were Young, Maggie is a fine track on any terms. I think Girl In The Blue Velvet Band is the best song Peter Rowan and Jerry Douglas has ever done. Chicka-Li-Lee-O is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Some of the arrangements found on Yonder are surprisingly edgy. Peter Rowan and Jerry Douglas has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. One listen to the sheer beauty of Untitled was all I needed.
