Glassmasters Cd1 isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. After seeing The Window Of Appearances, Akhnaten, Act Iiii, I had to have a good Philip Glass cd. Philip Glass’s debut, ‘Glassmasters Cd1′, does not fit easily into one genre. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
All of songs on Glassmasters Cd1 and have something to say letting alone .
The Dam, Itaipu is the albums biggest surprise. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Attack And Fall, Akhnaten, Act I Ii is a marvelous song and it grows on you. Confrontation And Rescue, Satyagraha, Act I I have really caught my ear and imagination. Funeral Of Amenhotep I, Akhnaten, Act I I - a classic song.
