Jump Salty carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. On Jump Salty album, Pinhead Gunpowder have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Pinhead Gunpowder’s debut, ‘Jump Salty’, does not fit easily into one genre. This is what good Rock: Punk-Rock should be.

Freedom Is one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. After few listenings I started to like I Wanna more and more. Losers Of The Year is possibly the best song Pinhead Gunpowder has come up. Big Yellow Taxi is a gorgeous song and it grows on you. Dull as a highlight of Jump Salty contains a ton of perfect melodies. Jump Salty couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Keeping Warm In The Nighttime. Beastly Bit is the excellent blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Benicia By The Bay - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Mpls Song - arguably the best track on Jump Salty album. I listened to the opening track In Control and liked it a lot. Simple and heartfelt closing track Hey Now closes Jump Salty on a high note.
