Pots And Shots isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. While no new Potshot album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1997 tour in Australia. For older fans Pots And Shots will put a massive smile accross your face. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
This track is nearly perfect if not perfect.
It’s such an underrated song. I’ve found myself listening to Radio back to back and back many times. Handle good vocals. Time has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Since Yesterday is simple, dignified and effective, Potshot refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Lyrics of Clear are precise and evocative. Under The Blue Sky is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Potshot allows each song to breathe and flourish. In Hi-Fi is a excellent sing-along. Not Worth Your While But Worth My Life is a bit of a show-tune. Mexico is astounding. Change on Pots And Shots is solid and easy to listen to. [hidden track] is beautiful, yet underrated track.
