Purple Penguin mp3

Purple Penguin De-Tuned imageWhile no new Purple Penguin album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1997 tour in Asia. I am not a real Trip-Hop music type of person, but i have to admit ‘De-Tuned’ really is amazing. Since completing 1997’s ‘Tombstone’, Purple Penguin fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This album is awesome.

This song stands out greatly from the others.

Only sets the tone for the entire album. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in De-Tuned. Tribhuwan (5:02) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! De-Tuned couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track No Action. When listening to New Harlem, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Razor because the melody in the chorus is so good. I loved Passion the first time I heard it. So High is probably the most interesting track on De-Tuned. Pressure [Re-Mix] actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Purple Penguin’s face. Memphis is worth the money. End Theme presents the perfect mix of instruments on De-Tuned.
