This -song debut EP shows the promise that Rancid has. IF YOU LIKE ALL Rancid’S SONG GO FOR IT! After debuting at No. 1 last week, Rancid’s album …And Out Come The Wolves falls to No. 2 with 364,000, a sales slide of 71%. I wish that “…And Out Come The Wolves” album was instrumental.
Rancid allows each song to breathe and flourish.
Avenues and Alleyways is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Daly City Train has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Disorder and Disarray one of the best in my collection. Journey To The End Of The East Bay (3:12) - awsome. Junkie Man is one of the more up-tempo songs on …And Out Come The Wolves. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Listed M.I.A., which shows, blatantly, how much Rancid has evolved as a singer. Lock, Step and Gone is the song that really did it for me. Maxwell Murder is the album’s biggest hit, I think. I hope to keep hearing Rancid works for a long time to come. First time I heard Olympia Wa. was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Roots Radicals is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Ruby Soho as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Still going through …And Out Come The Wolves and coming to appreciate She’s Automatic more and more with every listen. It’s such an underrated song. The Wars End is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. In The Way I Feel Rancid spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Time Bomb - I like this one. You Don’t Care Nothin’ - I just love it.
