While no new Redman album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1996 tour in South America. ‘Muddy Waters’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. After seeing Intro, I had to have a good Redman cd. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
is a song to enjoy for years to come.
Iz He 4 Real is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Rock Da Spot gets you up and jumping. Welcome (Interlude) is beautiful, yet underrated track. Redman sings his heart out in Case Closed. Pick It Up is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Skit is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Muddy Waters. Smoke Buddah has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Redman’s strong vocals come to the fore. Whateva Man is the song that really did it for me. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is On Fire because the melody in the chorus is so good. Redman rocks harder than ever with Do What Ya Feel. The Stick Up (Skit) is the more seemingly obscure song on Muddy Waters that bear up best to repeated listening. Creepin’ is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Da Bump is pretty funky and mellow. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Strong, powerful vocals of Redman in Yesh Yesh Ya’ll are very impressive. In What U Lookin’ 4 Redman spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Soopaman Luva 3 is the albums biggest surprise.
