Time Out isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Now signed to Sainkho’s Capitol Records, the title track from second album “Time Out” leads Sainkho’s back-to-school campaign. This is the first studio album from Sainkho since bad diagnosis in 1997. Time Out touched my soul like nothing else.
This track is just fantastic from start to finish.
Tuvan Blues is a strong cut, one of many. You have to get essence of the Kaar Deerge Chovulangnig (Pity to leave him)’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Get Time Out and turn on Mogeler Dugajinda Iri if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Sainkho sings his heart out in Ovyur. Meng Tyvam (My soul Tuva) is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Creation Song is a exquisite sing-along.
