While no new Saviour Machine album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1997 tour in South America. This album has some very good songs like Overture and A Prophecy. Self-described as Rock: Gothic with lots of words, Saviour Machine comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Enjoy the show.
- Check out that bassline!
A Prophecy is the album’s biggest hit, I think. I Am presents the exquisite mix of instruments on Legend - Part I. This song stands out greatly from the others. The Lamb makes a person feel amazing. This is probably my favorite song on the album. The Birth Pangs - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. The Woman is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. I love the melodic melody of The Night and to this day it makes me feel good. Some of the arrangements found on Legend - Part I are surprisingly edgy. Gog: Kings Of The North hits the heart. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. World War Iii - The Final Conflict I is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Ten - The Empire - a classic song. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Legend I:ii. The Beast is a good listen every once in a while. Saviour Machine offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself.
