Since completing 1997’s ‘Lackluster Me’, Savoy fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. IF YOU LIKE ALL Savoy’S SONG GO FOR IT! Savoy had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Great Rock: Pop-Rock right here!
Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right.
The opening track Unsound is very much like you would expect from other albums. You Should Have Told Me is another favourite of mine. Foreign Film is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Still going through Lackluster Me and coming to appreciate Flowers For Sylvia more and more with every listen. You have to get essence of the I Still Cry’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Sycamore Leaves is almost impossible to review. I hope to keep hearing Savoy works for a long time to come. Some of the arrangements found on Lackluster Me are surprisingly edgy. This That and The Other - another great track from the Lackluster Me album. Hey Luchie good vocals. Easy is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Vocals of Savoy in If You Tell really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm.
