Mental Reservation carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. I am not a real Metal: Heavy music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Mental Reservation’ really is amazing. For older fans Mental Reservation will put a massive smile accross your face. Scanner is one of my favourite bands of all time.

This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Mental Reservation is After The Storm. Your Infallible Smile - arguably the best track on Mental Reservation album. Simple and heartfelt closing track Conception Of A Cure closes Mental Reservation on a high note. Into A Brave Manr’s Mind - My least favorite song on this album. Listening to Out Of Nowhere you can hear that Scanner has still amazing chemistry with band members. Album opener Nightmare is a bright, upbeat ditty. This song stands out greatly from the others. Wrong Lane Of Society - Check out that bassline! After about the third 20Th Century Crusade listen through, I began to believe this song is Scanner’s essence.
