While no new Sharpshooters album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1996 tour in Australia. It has been thirteen years Sharpshooters’ last studio CD, “Chocked Up” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. I am not a real Acid Jazz music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Chocked Up’ really is amazing. Another great offering from Sharpshooters.

The song Heavyweight ending is my favorite… so catchy! It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Fire When Ready is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Funk Shack West is Sharpshooters’s best work in years. The sound of Jazz Confusion is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Relax (3:32) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! What sets Trust No One apart is Sharpshooters’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Hot Buttered Rum I just LOVE this mix! Spirits Unseen is probably the most interesting track on Chocked Up. Get Chocked Up and turn on Lazy Afternoon if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Massacre is a great opener for Chocked Up. Feeling Fine is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Music and lyrics of Down and Out creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. I find myself hearing bits of Sweet Talking here and there throughout my waking hours. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Relax (reprise) from the beginning to the end.
