After seeing Guru Mari, I had to have a good Shri Anandi Ma cd. ‘Divine Bliss’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Since completing 1997’s ‘Guru Mari’, Shri Anandi Ma fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Divine Bliss is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
I like because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming.
Dohe is astounding. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Rama Rasa - I like this one. Such hits like Shri Rama Stuti will leave you hooked. Hama Deena has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Shri Anandi Ma’s strong vocals come to the fore. Some of the arrangements found on Divine Bliss are surprisingly edgy. Rama Ho Rama is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song.
