It’s natural for Skoidats to take a stab at ‘Saturday Skins’ considering her long-professed love for Azymuth. Skoidats had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. There is no doubt that Skoidats has talent. The Times is the best essence of Skoidats.
It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener.
Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Granted. Charming song, great melody. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. I was truly moved when I heard Last Night. Rootsawalkin’ make listening to Skoidats like being in some sort of time warp. Moonstomp’97 has a fun tempo. Still Standing is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Goggles & Blinders is a good listen every once in a while. Yesterday is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. After few listenings I started to like Josh & Johns’ Revenge more and more. Listening to The Times you can hear that Skoidats has still amazing chemistry with band members. I find myself hearing bits of Beer,beer,beer here and there throughout my waking hours.
