On the England charts, superstar Stereolab’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. For older fans Fluorescences Single will put a massive smile accross your face. It’s natural for Stereolab to take a stab at ‘Fluorescences’ considering her long-professed love for Paul Oakenfold. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Fluorescences Single.
Vocals of Stereolab in really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm.
Pinball sets the tone for the entire album. You Used to Call Me Sadness - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Soop Groove #1 is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit.
