Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Steve Hackett on ‘Jekyll And Hyde’. Since Steve Hackett last CD (Gtr Live) on SixSteps records back in 1997, I have felt a massive void in my life. Lead single “Jekyll And Hyde” and “Here I Wait” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. IT makes me wanna dance!

Steve Hackett is hitting on all cylinders in Here I Wait. You have to get essence of the Prizefighters’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Imagining motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Hackett To Bits is pretty funky and mellow. Spectral Mornings - A classic Steve Hackett track. Musically I Know What I Like is superior to other tracks in Gtr Live. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Pennants is simply marvelous. Roundabout as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. The Hunter - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. You Can Still Get Trough rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. When The Heart Rules The Mind is a romantic if not formulaic ditty.
