Since Styx last CD (Return To Paradise Cd2) on Capitol Records back in 1997, I have felt a massive void in my life. When you buy a Styx album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This is one of the best Cd’s Styx has dropped to date. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
is the albums biggest surprise.
This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. The sound in Show Me The Way is really warm and Styx’s signature voice is still very much present. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Return To Paradise Cd2 couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Lorelei. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Miss America great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Come Sail Away is such a gorgeous and optimistic song that things can get just better. A unique and uplifting song. A.D. 1958 had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Dear John is perfect.
