This album has some very good songs like Fetch and Lay Me Down. On Sweet 75 album, Sweet 75 have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Sweet 75 on ‘Fetch’. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Lay Me Down
- Check out that bassline!
I can’t stop humming along Lay Me Down. Bite My Head is Sweet 75’s best work in years. Once you hear Red Dress, you will listen to it over and over. La Vida is the album’s biggest hit, I think. I like the agression and power of Six Years. Take Another Stab is just simply stunning. Poor Kitty is one of these floating songs. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Ode To Dolly. Dogs had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Cantos De Pilon is probably the highlight of the album. Sweet 75 offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Japan Trees is a perfect, simple song by Sweet 75 at the top of his game. Sweet 75 breathes new life into the music in Oral Health.
