Lead single “Windspitting Punk” and “No Time To Play” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. There is no doubt that Swingin’ Utters has talent. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Swingin’ Utters energies, virtually a rebirth. IT makes me wanna dance!
Some of the arrangements found on A Juvenile Product Of The Working Class are surprisingly edgy.
No Time To Play make listening to Swingin’ Utters like being in some sort of time warp. Nice and different song. Strong, powerful vocals of Swingin’ Utters in Keep Running are very impressive. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. If you are a Swingin’ Utters fan, you will love One In All. Swingin’ Utters is one of artists that allow his songs like Derailer to stand on their own and be heard. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Sign It Away is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Time Tells Time has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Swingin’ Utters’s strong vocals come to the fore. Almost Brave is a bit of a show-tune. Fifteenth And T gives taste of what makes Swingin’ Utters special as a musician. London Drunk - This is a very lively song. The Black Pint is one of my favorite songs by Swingin’ Utters. Bigot’s Barrel has a fun tempo. A Step To Go is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Swingin’ Utters released so far.
