Jim Jones has compared writing for Tankwart’s new album to that on ‘Himbeergeist Zum Fruhstuck’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This fourteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Tankwart has. I am not a real Metal: Thrash music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Himbeergeist Zum Fruhstuck’ really is amazing. Tankwart is one of my favourite bands of all time.

Viva Espana as a highlight of Himbeergeist Zum Fruhstuck contains a ton of cool melodies. Tanze Samba Mit Mir is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Musically Ein Bisschen Spass Muss Sein is superior to other tracks in Himbeergeist Zum Fruhstuck. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Opening track Am Tag, Als Conny Kramer Starb shows the best of Tankwart. Himbeereis Zum Fruehstueck - Okay, I just talked about depth. Dschinghis Khan is one of the more up-tempo songs on Himbeergeist Zum Fruhstuck. Sieben Faesser Wein is the more seemingly obscure song on Himbeergeist Zum Fruhstuck that bear up best to repeated listening. A great put together song. Music of Fiesta Mexicana is gentle, never overbearing. Although Fahrende Musikanten is very melodic it is far from sad. This track is just a stunning masterpiece.
