sixteen years ago, Tenor Saw briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Rub-A-Dub Market”. There is no doubt that Tenor Saw has talent. When you buy a Tenor Saw album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Fever is not something you should pass up.
This is probably my favorite song on the album.
Some of the arrangements found on Fever are surprisingly edgy. Jah Guide And Protect Me - This is a very lively song. Fever - A strong beat. Don’t judge Roll Call on the first listening. I’ve found myself listening to Eni Meeni Mini Mo back to back and back many times. Tenor Saw is one of artists that allow his songs like Pumpkin Belly to stand on their own and be heard. Shirley Jones is one of my favorite songs by Tenor Saw. After few listenings I started to like Praise Jah With Dab more and more. Eni Meeni Mini Mo Dub is probably the highlight of the album. Dub Fever catches attention immediately, This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Jah Guide Dub is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. I have all of Tenor Saw’s tracks and Lots Of Dub is probably the most his introspective effort. This is one hell of a track. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Surely Dub, which shows, blatantly, how much Tenor Saw has evolved as a singer. Who’s Gonna Help Me Praise pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.
