‘Brother For Real’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. For older fans Brother For Real will put a massive smile accross your face. I am not a real House music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Brother For Real’ really is amazing. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
First time I heard was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.
Bad House Music still maintains something of a specific flourish. City Lights is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Terry Lee Brown Jr. released so far. Impact State is such a exquisite and optimistic song that things can get just better. Some of the arrangements found on Brother For Real are surprisingly edgy. Upstairs At Silicon Dream is probably the most interesting track on Brother For Real. Terry’s House is cool work of Terry Lee Brown Jr.. Smooth Experience is a bit of a show-tune. Best song on the album, love it. Outshine to me is the best you can get from Terry Lee Brown Jr.. A great put together song.
