When I listen to Os iusti in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Christus factus est pro nobis is probably one of The Benedictine Monks of Santo Domingo De Silos’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Opening track Mandatum novum do vobis shows the best of The Benedictine Monks of Santo Domingo De Silos. Only one song from Chant named Media vita in morte sumus really got me. Alleluia, beatus vir qui suffe is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. I now have Spiritus domini as one of my personal favorites. I like the agression and power of Improperium. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. So much energy, so exciting a sound.I believe Puer natus in Bethlehem is one of the most exquisite, heartfelt songs ever written. Jacta cogitatum is exquisite work of The Benedictine Monks of Santo Domingo De Silos. Verbum caro factum est is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Song Genuit puerpera regem is actually a funny song. Occuli omnium I just LOVE this mix! Ave mundi spes Maria is a song to enjoy for years to come. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Hosanna filio David is perfect.
