The Long Black Veil very upbeat. Have I Told You Lately That I Love You? is beautiful, yet underrated track. Changing Your Demeanour - A nice song. No The Chieftains song has come close to capturing my attention as The Lily Of The West did. Coast Of Malabar - A catchy, upbeat tune. Although Dunmore Lassies is very melodic it is far from sad. This is one hell of a track. He Moved Through The Fair (4:55) a good melody. Ferny Hill is the more seemingly obscure song on Long Black Veil that bear up best to repeated listening. Get Long Black Veil and turn on Tennessee Waltz / Tennessee Mazurka if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Voice of The Chieftains in The Rocky Road To Dublin is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant.
