Since The Cult last CD (High Octane Cult) on Virgin Records back in 1996, I have felt a massive void in my life. The Cult had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by The Cult. High Octane Cult touched my soul like nothing else.
I can’t stop playing .
All of songs on High Octane Cult and have something to say letting alone Coming Down. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Fire Woman. Heart Of Soul is probably the most interesting track on High Octane Cult. Strong, powerful vocals of The Cult in In The Clouds are very impressive. I like Lil’ Devil because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Love Removal Machine is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Although Rain is very melodic it is far from sad. The Cult has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Within the first few notes of Revolution it’s perfectly clear that The Cult is living this song. She Sells Sanctuary is perfect and different song. Spiritwalker has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Star the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. The Witch - Check out that bassline! Wild Forever is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Wild Hearted Son, which shows, blatantly, how much The Cult has evolved as a singer.
