When you buy a The Fall album, you know exactly what you’re getting! There is no doubt that The Fall has talent. After debuting at No. 1 last week, The Fall’s album Sinister Waltz falls to No. 2 with 346,000, a sales slide of 51%. Unappreciated gift to Rock: Punk-Rock
Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer.
Couldn’t Get Ahead is the funkiest number on the album. Blood Outta Stone is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. This track is full of harmonies and gets Sinister Waltz off to a relaxing start. First time I heard The Knight, the Devil and Death was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. The Fall is one of artists that allow his songs like Birthday to stand on their own and be heard. I now have Pumpkin Head Escapes as one of my personal favorites. Wings sets the tone for the entire album. Dr. Faustus - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of The Fall. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Sinister Waltz. Black Monk Theme is possibly the best song The Fall has come up. Gut of the Quantifier - This one makes me want to not only sing along. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Sinister Waltz.
