Now signed to The Groovie Ghoulies’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “Born In The Basement” leads The Groovie Ghoulies’s back-to-school campaign. There is so much to love about The Groovie Ghoulies, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. When you buy a The Groovie Ghoulies album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe.
Hello Hello as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Levitation on Born In The Basement is solid and easy to listen to. My Car - Okay, I just talked about depth. After about the third The Beast With Five Hands listen through, I began to believe this song is The Groovie Ghoulies’s essence. Message To Pretty is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Pumpkinhead - My least favorite song on this album. So much energy, so exciting a sound.I Wanna Have Fun is a medium tempo tune. Nice and different song. Album opener Walk Out In The Rain is a bright, upbeat ditty. This song stands out greatly from the others. The Groovie Ghoulies emotions are reflected through I Ain’t Talkin’ To You. Hypergenerate hits the heart. I find myself hearing bits of Bonustrack here and there throughout my waking hours.
