There is no doubt that The Shadows has talent. It’s natural for The Shadows to take a stab at ‘Wonderful Land (Unissued Version)’ considering her long-professed love for 2 Unlimited. ‘The Shadows At Abbey Road’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
- Okay, I just talked about depth.
From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. What A Lovely Tune (Unissued Stereo Version) is absolutely incredible. What sets The Boys - Theme (Un-Dubbed Version) apart is The Shadows’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Best song on the album, love it. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Nice and different song. Razzmataz (Unissued Alternative Version) is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. The Shadows emotions are reflected through Nothing, Folks (Unissued Instrumental Track). This is the kind of song I think of when I think of The Shadows. Zero X Theme (Stereo Re-Mix) - I like this one. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. The Shadows offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on The Shadows At Abbey Road is Slaughter On 10Th Avenue. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Unissued Instrumental) is probably one of The Shadows’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. I hope to keep hearing The Shadows works for a long time to come. The Shadows is one of artists that allow his songs like God Only Knows (Unissued Re-Mixed and Modified Version) to stand on their own and be heard.
