This thirteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Toad The Wet Sprocket has. Now signed to Toad The Wet Sprocket’s Sparrow Records, the title track from second album “Coil” leads Toad The Wet Sprocket’s back-to-school campaign. I am not a real Rock: Pop-Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Coil’ really is amazing. I Love Coil from start to finish!
It’s a great pleasure to listen to from the beginning to the end.
Come Down is probably the highlight of the album. Rings has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. No Toad The Wet Sprocket song has come close to capturing my attention as Dam Would Break did. Desire is one of my favorite songs by Toad The Wet Sprocket. Don’t Fade is a song to enjoy for years to come. Once Little Man Big Man gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. I believe Amnesia is one of the most gorgeous, heartfelt songs ever written. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Toad The Wet Sprocket allows each song to breathe and flourish. It’s a great pleasure to listen to All Things In Time from the beginning to the end.
