Lichtbringer isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. While no new Totenmond album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1996 tour in Asia. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Totenmond energies, virtually a rebirth. This album is awesome.
This song may be the most meaningful.
This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. I came to like Tod Ist Freude. Vaterland is almost impossible to review. Some of the arrangements found on Lichtbringer are surprisingly edgy. Blew our minds when we first heard Kellerstahl. Kreuznagel is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Lichtbringer. Necrophiler Sonntag one is one of the better boring ones.
