Uman was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Uman and Purple Passage together. Uman had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This disc has all of the essential Uman classics. This album is awesome.

Hopee is simply exquisite. Uman must have run out of lyrics on the next track The White Spirit. Wind Source defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Uman breathes new life into the music in Anica. By Path as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Arabian Nights, which shows, blatantly, how much Uman has evolved as a singer. An Obscure Clearness is the albums biggest surprise. On The Confidence Track is perfect. Purple Passage have really caught my ear and imagination. Uman emotions are reflected through Cell Mother. This song is dynamic and dramatic.
