After debuting at No. 1 last week, Wailing Souls’s album Wild Suspense falls to No. 2 with 842,000, a sales slide of 51%. There is no doubt that Wailing Souls has talent. Lead single “Black Rose” and “Bredda Gravalicious [Dub]” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is my first Wailing Souls Album and i must say i am blown away.
From the moment you listen to you’re hooked.
Bredda Gravalicious [Dub] very upbeat. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Feel the Spirit catches attention immediately, Row Fisherman [Dub] is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Music and lyrics of Row Fisherman creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Vocals of Wailing Souls in Slow Coach [Dub] really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Slow Coach - My least favorite song on this album. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. I like to sing along with Something Funny, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. I hope to keep hearing Wailing Souls works for a long time to come. Very Well [Dub] is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Very Well is outstanding work of Wailing Souls. Walk But Mind You Don’t Fall [Dub] without a doubt is the standout song of Wild Suspense. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. We’ve Got to Be Together [Dub] - A classic Wailing Souls track. In Wild Suspense you won’t find any flashy solos.
