It has been fourteen years Waterbone’ last studio CD, “Tibet” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Waterbone’s debut, ‘Tibet’, does not fit easily into one genre. Self-described as Trip-Hop with lots of words, Waterbone comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Last Hot Album by Waterbone
hits the heart.
River of Souls marked the continuation of Waterbone in style evolution. Tantra is the song that really did it for me. Vocals of Waterbone in Song for the Mountain really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. All of songs on Tibet and have something to say letting alone August Moon. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Pujari Vision. Waterdance is just simply stunning. Bridge to Manaslu has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. A Child’s Prayer makes a person feel excellent.
