This is the first studio album from Weltenbrand since bad diagnosis in 1997. Das Nachtvolk is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Weltenbrand on ‘Intro’. This album is in perfect progression from Weltenbrand!
I find myself hearing bits of here and there throughout my waking hours.
There is exquisite mix of music in The Three Sisters. Magpies - A classic Weltenbrand track. I loved The Death the first time I heard it. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. The Bewitched Tears (The Little Lake Of Sass) is a medium tempo tune. Some call Gafadura from Das Nachtvolk as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. People Of The Night is the song that really did it for me. Forsaken Wisdom is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Well Of Pledge one is one of the better boring ones. The Saga Of Lichten Stein makes a person feel gorgeous.
