While no new Zard album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1996 tour in Asia. On Today is Another Day album, Zard have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Zard was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Zard and Today is Another Day together. This album is in perfect progression from Zard!
is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle.
Kimi ga Itakara - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. I’ve found myself listening to Sayonara wa Ima mo Kono Mune ni Imas back to back and back many times. Strong, powerful vocals of Zard in Love are very impressive. Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku has a fun tempo. Nemuri - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. What sets Kokoro wo Hiraite apart is Zard’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Totsuzen is one of these floating songs. Kyo mo is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Today is Another Day I just LOVE this mix! Ai ga Mienai (4:05) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! In Mitsumete Itaine Zard spins a tale you want to hear to the end.
