I am not a real Reggae music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Grow together’ really is amazing. Since completing 1996’s ‘Seed’, Zion Train fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Self-described as Reggae with lots of words, Zion Train comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Zion Train is one of my favourite bands of all time.
I listened to the opening track and liked it a lot.
Space is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Song La Madrugada is actually a funny song. When I listen to Procession in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Such hits like Grow Together will leave you hooked. You have to get essence of the Babylon’s Burning (repetitive beats mix)’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Harvest is a excellent sing-along. It’s such an underrated song. Best song on the album, love it. Peace - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Roots Part I is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Zion Train ever produced.
